I know that I am the worst blogger EVER!! I am so far behind that I am not even going to try and catch up... atleast not right now.

We had such a great summer and it just flew right on by. Todd is super busy in the summer, so I am not complaining that it is over. Please excuse my horrible photography skills and my children that have a very hard time looking at the camera!!

Halloween

The kids were all Clowns for Halloween. I love love loved their costumes!! Brody has his costume thrashed within 1 hour of wearing it. As usual it was a group effort to try and get a decent picture of the kids.

This summer we had a great 4th of July. Our friends threw the cutest little block party. The kids played in the water and had a little parade!! I really hope this becomes a new tradition, (hint hint Stace!!!)

It has been months since I updated my blog. Thats way too long. The summer is coming to an end which also means my pregnany is too!!! YAY!!!!! Although Todd was working most of the summer, we still managed to have fun together as a family. Here are some random photos from the summer.

We have had a great and busy summer so far, I went to the Britney concert with friends which was a lot of fun! My good friend Mandy came to visit, we had such a great time with her and her daughter, Gentry. Todd and I both have had birthdays, my little sister graduated 8th grade and my little brother graduated high school. The kids and I miss Todd a ton, it is his busy season so we don't see him as much as we would like!

I know that it has been a long time since I have posted anything. I am going to try and catch up, so most of these pictures will not be very recent!!!!
We had a great easter this year. The kids found their baskets in the morning before church and started eating candy early. Then we went over to my parents after church for a BBQ and easter egg hunt. They both loved finding the eggs. Kensington would shake every egg that she picked up and if she didn't hear and candy inside then she would throw in back on the ground. It was pretty funny!!!

Todd and I and the kids have been having so much fun together. Kensington is getting to the age where she just says the funniest things. It is funny the words she picks up on that Todd and I use. She likes to say the word "Actually" all the time as well as "Maybe try this" when something isn't working. Brody is getting so big and has started to sing part of the ABC's, it's just so cute!!!

Golden Globes Swag Party

About six months ago my friend Allison and I were at a trade show and were invited to attend a Golden Globes Swag Party. We were both excited that we were selected to attend this "invite only" party. A few weeks ago my brother "Bobby", Allison and I drove to L. A. for the party that lasted two days, and ended the night before the Golden Globes. We seriously had such a fun time, like we always do when we are together. Bobby and Allison had so much fun time that they didn't sleep the whole trip. No Joke. It was a very neat experience and we met a ton of really neat people, along with a lot of celebrities. It really was so crazy to see the celebs walking around with their escorts to all the different vendors to load up on all the hottest products in the "infant/child industry" There were so many celebs that we didn't get to get photos with just because it was pretty crazy and packed. Here are a few photos from the event.

Kensie and Brody were so fun Christmas morning. Brody loved all the paper. Kensie's favorite gift was a DVD case filled with movies that my mom got her. She still carries it around and tells Todd and I, "You can't take this, my yaya gave it to me." So cute!!

Christmas is my favorite holiday, and it is even better now that I have kids to share it with. Leading up to Christmas we did so many fun things as a family. My brother had us over to bake and decorate sugar cookies and put lights on our tree and on yaya and paw-paw's tree. Bobby also let Kensie help give Abbey a bath.

Kensie and Brody were Cruella DeVille and a little dalmation for Halloween this year. I really thought that they fit the characters pretty well. Kensie is so lively and spunky and sassy that I thought she would make a perfect Cruella. Brody really is just like a sweet little puppy dog!! Brody of course had no clue what was going on all night but loved being held by daddy for hours and hours. Kensie loved our ward halloween party. She loved the little animals set up outside and loved getting candy in all the trunks and even shopped for candy out of everyone's bags while they weren't looking! We tried to get some pictures of the two together and of course they are kinda blurry but thats okay!!! We had a great night!

Great America

bout a month ago my family went to Great America for my little sister's Cheer Competition. Brody loved being outside and Kensie had such a blast dancing to all the cheer music and riding the kid roller coasters. I don't have very many pictures but here are two my brother send me. This was the first ride Kensie had ever been on and she loved it!!!! I guess it's time to start thinking about Disneyland!!!

It was Mallory's 6th birthday a few weeks ago. I had not a single clue of what to get her. Allison told me 1 movie that they didn't already own, to get for her. Of course I couldn't find it, so I gave her 20 dollars all in 1 dollar bills. She thought that she had hit the jackpot!!! Her faces were priceless!!!!! Love ya Mally!!

A few weeks ago I was able to go to the So you think you can dance concert. It was such a blast. My good friend Allsion brought her four kids and then my mom, Mackenzie, bobby and I went. We had a yummy dinner at Cheesecake Factory and then went to the concert. My pictures didn't turn out that well but I had to post about it anyway. I was so happy to see the bleeding love dance. It was so amazing. We also got to see Joshua, he was just so good. I was feeling a little bad leaving Todd at home with the babes. I knew that he would have liked the concert. When I got home that night he had cleaned the house from top to bottom and unpacked all the boxes from moving. What a sweetheart. Such a fun night.

I have been pretty lame at posting lately. Life is a little crazy. i just got back from a show in Vegas and now I am trying to get all my orders out so that I can relax a bit. Todd is still in Vegas and hopefully will be home on Saturday. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I can for sure say that this has been the craziest year for Todd and I. I am so happy to say that it is coming to an end. On the 12th Todd and I are packing up and driving home. Todd will have to go back to Vegas for a few more weeks but that will give me a little time to unpack and put our house back together. I honestly don't really remember what it felt like to "LIVE" in our house. I just can't wait!!!!!

Awhile back I was able to get in contact with Tori Spelling. I gave Tori a few of my flower crochet headbands for her brand new baby girl, Stella.
So......... As I was sitting on the couch Wednesday morning my phone rang and I see that Stacey is calling me. So I pick up to phone and Stacey says... " Oh my gosh Megan I just saw one of your flower headbands on Tori Spelling's reality T.V. show. Stacey went on to tell me that Stella, Tori's baby girl was wearing my headband on her coming home episode of Tori and Dean. I was basically freaking out. Since my call from Stacey I have gotten a few other phone calls from friends who also happen to watch Tori and Dean on the oxygen channel. This is so very exciting to me. In the baby manufacturer industry it means the world to have a celebrity baby wearing one of your products. I am so happy that Tori and Stella like my headbands as she will be recieving many more in the near future. Thanks Stace for the greatest news EVER.

The kids and I have been having so much fun. We go to the pool almost everyday. About a month ago kensie really dislikes the water andnow she is such a little dare devil and loves swimming so much! Brody also loves the water and kicks around in his little floater. I got Kensie a water color set and she loves it. So far she has painted the paper, the table, brody, the cloth chairs, and almost her entire body.

It has been so nice to be back in California for the last two weeks. It has made me quite anxious for September to hurry up and get here so that our lives can get back to normal. Don't get me wrong I am actually having a blast in Vegas and really really like it there. The main reason that I came home for a visit was because a I was in a good freinds wedding. The wedding was beautiful and all my good friends were there so we really had a blast chatting and dancing. I was so sad that Todd wasn't able to come with me to the wedding! It just wasn't the same without him, but it was still a beautiful night and I was so happy to share Tessa's big day with her.

Saturday the 31st was Todd's birthday. As usual Todd didn't want anything for his birthday which made it super hard for me to find him something for him. Kensie and I picked Todd's cake up Saturday morning and Kensie could hardly contain herself. All day she sang happy birthday and talked about blowing out the candles and eating cake. I begged Todd to come home early from work just so Kensie would stop begging and crying for her cake! We had a fun evening eating at our favorite PANERA and just spending time together and of course opening presents and finally eating cake. Happy Birthday Baby!

The kids and I are having lots of fun together. We have been playing outside before it gets too hot here in just a few weeks. We also went and played with Katie and Katelyn (todd's partners wife and daughter) the other day and kensie had so much fun playing outside with all the toys and bubbles.

It has been pretty hot this week so far so we have spent a lot of time inside playing. On Monday it was 110 degrees out. It was a record in Vegas for the month of May. I wanted to get some more pictures of Brody crawling, he is getting really good.
